Unit 1 - Hindu Beliefs
This unit explores the central beliefs that shape Hindu Dharma and guide the lives of millions of Hindus worldwide. Students will examine key concepts such as Brahman, atman, karma, samsara and moksha, alongside the importance of deities, avatars and the Trimurti. Through scriptural sources, stories and philosophical ideas, learners will gain insight into how these beliefs influence worship, ethical choices and daily practice.
